By downloading or using the ResQ app (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the App.
1. Use of the App
The App and all associated intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, and database rights, are the exclusive property of ResQ. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose, in accordance with these Terms.
You are not permitted to:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any part of it;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App;
- Create derivative works or translations;
- Use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.
2. Modifications and Charges
ResQ reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We may also introduce charges for certain services. If any charges are applied, they will be clearly communicated in advance and require your explicit consent.
3. Personal Data and Security
The App stores and processes personal data that you provide in order to deliver our services. By using the App, you consent to such collection and use as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
It is your responsibility to:
- Keep your device and App access secure;
- Avoid modifying the device’s operating system (e.g., jailbreaking or rooting), as this may compromise security and impact functionality.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services that may have their own Terms & Conditions. Key services include but are not limited to Google Play Services.
You are encouraged to review the policies of these third-party providers directly.
5. Connectivity and Charges
Some functions of the App require an active internet connection, which may be Wi-Fi or mobile data. ResQ is not responsible for the App’s performance if connectivity is limited or unavailable.
If you access the App outside your local region or without a Wi-Fi connection:
- You may incur data usage or roaming charges under your mobile provider’s plan.
- You are solely responsible for any such charges.
- By using the App, you confirm you have the bill payer’s permission if applicable.
6. User Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring your device remains operational. ResQ cannot be held liable if the App fails to function due to a device running out of battery or being otherwise unavailable.
7. Reliance on Third-Party Information
While we aim to keep the App accurate and current, some content and functionality may rely on information from third parties. ResQ does not accept liability for any loss—direct or indirect that results from relying on information supplied via the App.
8. App Updates and Support
The App is currently available on Android and iOS platforms. System requirements may change, and ResQ is not obligated to maintain compatibility with older versions.
By using the App, you agree to:
- Accept and install updates when offered;
- Understand that ResQ may cease to support or offer the App without prior notice.
In the event of termination:
- All rights granted to you under these Terms will cease;
- You must stop using and delete the App from your device.
9. Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions are effective as of 1 July 2025. We may update them from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
